Death is as old as mankind, yet we still wrestle to accept it, even though it has always been part of life. My brother Leo has left us for now, but my childhood memories of my brother will always remain alive. No one can truly know or understand the bond Leo (Boss) and I shared, sorrow cries within my heart. One memory I would like everyone to hold onto is among his final words: “I am ready to meet my Maker.” Those words bring me comfort.

We honor the memory of my brother, Leo Roberts, the fourth eldest of our siblings. Leo was a dedicated brother, distinguished by his sharp wit and significant contributions to local charitable organizations. During his youth, he frequently sought academic guidance from our father, a teacher, demonstrating an exceptional aptitude that provided a strong foundation for his future endeavors. His ambition and academic excellence facilitated a distinguished professional journey, beginning at the local post office, where he ascended rapidly to Postmaster General and later served as Director of Post. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. May the good angel escort him to Paradise and until we meet again lay peacefully in the everlasting arms of the Lord. Olive

You will be greatly missed by everyone by daye shop on the Golf Course. I look forward to you walking down every evening sitting and chit chatting buying drinks for one another then once I see you stand up I know it was home time. Postman you will forever be remembered

How can I express the deep, overwhelming grief that has consumed my mind, heart, and soul? My loving brother’s death has shaken me to the core. Leo, I miss our daily conversations. Your passing brings to mind a line from the famous poem Tears, Idle Tears: “O Death in Life, the days that are no more.” We cried so deeply when our brother died last year, and now we grieve for you. Whoever reads this must know that mere words have failed me; tears have taken over. I can no longer hear your calm voice on the phone. Oh, my sweet brother, rest in peace with the angels. Your voice will still ring in my ears as I remember you calling to say, “Ay Ay Lynti, what are you doing? Eating?” We both loved to eat.

My sweet, dear brother; your loving memories will forever be with us. The pain we are experiencing is extreme no pill can ease. We are so thankful that God and mom raised us in an environment full of love and unity that truly strengthened our family. Love has created us, and it will prevail. So, rest in peace. You know we will be talking about you from now and forever.
