Lawrence Francis BEM also known as “SARGE” of St. Jules Street, who resided at Mt. Rush Housing Scheme, St. George, a member of the Salvation Army
passed away on Tuesday 12th May, 2026
at the age of 86.

Left to mourn are:
His adopted children: Adopted son and nephew Ethorn Francis, Assistant Superintendent of police, of the Royal Grenada Police Force – attached to the RGPF Band (Band Master), Adopted daughter and niece: Kayron Francis who resides in the USA

Grandnieces: Kenika and Anika Francis, Ethorndra Alexander

Grandnephew: Eshawn Pascal and Kaydon Francis presently residing in the USA

Cousins: Claudia Redhead and family, Ann Fortune, Elizabeth Jacqueline Felix and family, Audrey Fortune and family, Tahera Tera Baptiste and family all residing in the USA, Elgin and family, Jermain and family

Daughter-in-law: Merylann Francis

Very close friends: Salisha, Sanaka, Barbarjean and the rest of the Patrick family, Candice Joseph and Shemica

Church Members: Captain Mr. and Mrs. Linton Commanding Officers Cheryl Greenidge and other members of the The Salvation Army

Many other relatives and friends including: Pastor Samson Monroe, Pastor Welsh, Marcus Christopher and family, Althea Forsythe, Teacher Rela, Nurse Olive Julien and other neighbors of the Mt. Rush Housing scheme, friends and neighbors of St. Jule’s Street and surrounding areas.

The Funeral of the late Lawrence Francis BEM also known as “SARGE”
Will take place on Tuesday 2nd June, 2026 at 1:00pm
Funeral service will be held at the Evangelistic Center Market Hill, St. George’s acc. to Salvation Army rites
And interment at Wilberforce Cemetery
