Edna Strachan affectionately known as “Edna Shockness and E.D.N.A”, who resided at La Mode, St. George
passed away on Friday 24th July, 2026
at the age of 94.

She was the:
Beloved mother of: Leon, Trevor and Robert Shockness and Veron Williams

Grandmother of: Tina Jones, Kyla and Nicole Shockness, Linda Williams, Brandon and Christian Williams

Great Grandmother of: Le’Veon Jones, Elon, Leanna, Leona and Nova Williams

Mother-in-law of: Beryl and Ilse Shockness and Anthony Williams

Great Aunt of: Dominic and Marina Lindsay, Marcelle St. Bernard, Gail and Wayne Marshall, Judy Ann James, Neil Marshall, Brendon, Brian and Michael Lindsay

Many other relatives and close friends including: Jeneene Allette, Francis, Claudette and Susan Lawrence, Sheldon, Marlene, J’aime and Xaria Lawrence, Lydia Neckles, and the communities of La Mode, Beaulieu and surrounding areas.

The Funeral of the late Edna Strachan affectionately known as “Edna Shockness and E.D.N.A”
Will take place on Friday 21st August, 2026 at 12:00pm, beginning with tributes at 12:30pm and service at 1:00pm
Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, St. George
Followed by interment at Mt. Airy Cemetery
