Lambert affectionately known as “Chopper” and ‘Savannah”, a past Faculty Member of Convent High School, Roseau, Dominica, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, North-South Institute, Florida, United States of American and a former Advisor to the Ministry of Trade Dominica of Roseau, Dominica and St. Paul’s Garden, St. George
passed away on Wednesday 13th May, 2026 in the USA
at the age of 74.

Left to mourn are:
His wife: Marlene Greenaway-Lambert

Daughters: Tamara and Tanya K. Lambert

Siblings: Edward, Swinton, Denis Russel, Jean and Joyce Lambert and Peter Philogene

Adopted Siblings: Sir Luther Martin, Yvonne Rullow and Merle Navarro

Many nieces, nephews and their respective families including: Dr. Shawna Lambert-Pitt, Janine Lambert- Charles, Sean Douglas, Dr. Binta Lambert, Dr. Joel Lambert, Bernadette, Sanura, Darren, Damil, Dameeka, Diamara, Shannel, Shalona, Noah and Esther Lambert, Dr. Dasonj Nixon, Sharika Patrice, Chad and Cavan Simon, Dr. Sean Lambert, Ricardo Belgrave, Dr. Janelle Lambert, Sandina Date and Brendon Defoe.

The Funeral of the late Dr. Ian A. A. Lambert affectionately known as “Chopper” and “Savannah”
Will take place on Friday 19th June, 2026 at 3:00pm
Funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral, Roseau, Dominica.
Followed by cremation
