Bernadette Agnes Gittens nee Penny also known as “Nurse Gittens” of Snug Corner, who resided in Morne Jaloux, St. George, a retired nurse of the General Hospital and Carlton House
passed away on Friday 19th, June 2026
at the age of 79.

Her children: Derick St. Bernard, Amanda Cande Gittens-Baptiste, Dr. Reneé Gittens, Randall Gittens and Tanisha Phillip

Brother: Roy Francis

Grandchildren: Dr. Amika Gittens-Dowden, Jarvis Charles, Rocheé Inglis, Roshad Phillip, Randall Gittens Jr., Aleesha Gittens-Baptiste, Rhia Gittens, Aaliyah Gittens-Baptiste, Makai Phillip and Averi Fletcher

Will take place on Friday 10th July, 2026 at 1:00 pm
Funeral service will be held at The Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church of Roxborough, St. Paul’s, St. George
Followed by entombment at Mt. Airy Cemetery, St. George
