Avis Bell Mason nee` Cox also known as “Teacher Avis” of Woburn and Grand Anse, St. George, who resided at Walker, St. Andrew
passed away on Monday 15th June, 2026
at the age of 92.
Funeral service will take place on Thursday 23rd July 2026 at 1:00pm beginning with tributes and service at 2:00pm
at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Grand Anse, St. George
and entombment at Grand Anse Cemetery.

My heartfelt condolences to Cheryl Eudine Kenrick Patrick Mr Eugene and the rest of the family. Teacher Avis was a pillar in the village with such a generous and loving heart. She will be greatly missed. To be absent in the body is to be present with her Saviour. May her soul rest in peace and may you all find comfort as you navigate this difficult time
