Ashmore Theodore Dunbar Scott also known as “Yam” of Mt. Airy, St. Paul’s, St. George
who passed away on Sunday 26th July, 2026
at the age of 78.

Left to mourn are:
His wife: Sonia Mathlin-Scott

Daughters: Tamara, Karen, Rachael, Tamica and Neasha

Sons: Andy, Alley, Ashley and Dwane

Siblings: Iva (Trinidad), Delisha (Miami), Unita, Merilla, Ashton better known as (Vello/fly), Jacqueline, Marilyn, Gillian, Jennifer, Connie, Christopher and Albert

Many grandchildren and great grands, nieces and nephews. Too numerous to mention

Son-in-law: Damany Palmer

Daughter in law: Tammy Baptiste

Brothers and sisters-in-law: Andy, Ann and Sandra (Canada), Norril and Jacob (USA), Dolares, Beverley, Eddie and Margaret Bowen-Bishop

Many other relatives and friends including: The La Touché family, the Mitchell, Benoit, Redhead, Noel, Mc Guire families, the Lewis family and the domino crew at Louise Blue Shop. Neighbours and friends of Mt. Airy, St. Paul’s and surrounding areas, Andy Lewis, Delores, Brian Pitt, Alan Mc Intyre, Kester/Louise Redhead, Nuts Man and Teacher Mike.

The Funeral of the late Ashmore Theodore Dunbar Scott also known as “Yam”
Will take place on Friday 14th August, 2026 at 1:00pm
Funeral service will be held at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, St. George
Followed by interment at Mt. Airy Cemetery
