Norbert Henry James also known as “Sawquan” of Mt. Granby, St. John and Victoria, St. Mark but resided at Tivoli, St. Andrew
passed away on Monday 19th January, 2026
at the age of 89.

Left to mourn are:
Common law wife: Veronica John

8 Children: Alice, Veron, Osbert, Joanna, Loxley, Jameson, James and Nordica in England

Brother: Bartley

Sister: Catherine

26 Grand Children including: Sarah, Overille, Ariel, Jomaine, Trinity and Lebron in England

21 Great Grandchildren including: Khai and Sariyah

10 Nieces and Nephews including: Andre, Dawson, Madonna, Annette and Claudette.

Other relatives and friends including: The James and Modeste families from Victoria and Gouyave, Kennedy Budhald and family, Quichim and family in Tivoli, Terry Hilliare and family and the boys under the shop, Livingston Nelson and family and the Tivoli Drummers, Shadel Nayak and family and the Belmont Estate Family. The doctor and nurses of the Tivoli Medical Station, the members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Tivoli, the Bartholomew Family in Tivoli and surrounding areas.

The Funeral of the late Norbert Henry James
Will take place on Thursday 19th February, 2026, commencing with tributes at 1:00pm and service at 2:00pm
Funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Tivoli, St. Andrew
And internment at Tivoli Cemetery
