My dear friend...my dear, dear friend, Kelvin The pain of your untimely passing stings today like yesterday. Kelvin, you put me to the floor every time I think of you, reminisicing on how we met, how our friendship grew among the four of us who met at Project Management class (you, Earl, Whyme and me) to that of sisterhood/brotherhood, how caring and thoughtful you were, how daring, fun, exciting, genuine and welcoming you were. Earl and I speak about you almost daily, with me always saying, "Boy, wah do Kelvin, Boy?!" I even ask you that too, but you don't answer in words. Among the many ways you showed up for me and my family, the most recent was when you left Carriacou at the 99th hour to come to my birthday party in June, having to take the flight back the next morning. Your words upon receiving the invitation were, "I start to make reservations to come to that one time, you know...by meself or with guest?" Your presence was the highlight for me, knowing how you didn't even think twice or make time a factor. I told everyone that, and you. too. all up to the week later. Your responses were, "I wouldn't have missed it for the world. You is de Queen Bee. We is we and in the afternoon, we is??????????? Was really happy to be there, Baby, and you looked lovely...lovely...these moments are priceless, so you dun know....that's what we are made of...". That is just one in the millions of example of how you treated friendship. As much as I don't believe in coincidences, never did I think our exchanges at the party about our friendship and what it meant to us would have been even more meaningful in the last 5 weeks and 2 days...yes, I am counting! To talk about you is equivalent to reading a very large, fine-print book because you lived! I will NEVER forget you, my friend. Even if I try, you make it impossible. I was not ready for your passing, and I am so not ready for your funeral, Kelvin...

To our dear Alexis family. We cherish the life our dear cousin lived. He will always be remembered for his kindness, love, family oriented person etc. Only August this year, we remembered his assistance to our dear and beloved MUM duing her sickness. Also, only 2 months ago he played an integral part in laying her to rest. When you meet her, I am sure she would say as she usually do " Thank you sir" with her usual smile. God be with you. Kelvin rest in perfect peace.
