It is with heartfelt sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Edith Roslyn Phillip, of Gouyave Estate, St. John who resided in Grandmal and Canada
departed this life in Canada on January 27th 2026
at the blessed age of 85.
Funeral service will take place on Tuesday 24th February, 2026 at 2:00pm with tributes commencing at 1:00pm
at Grenada Trade Center, Morne Rouge, Grand Anse St. George
followed by Entombment at Center Cemetery

It is with heartfelt sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Edith Roslyn Phillip, of Gouyave Estate, St. John who resided in Grandmal and Canada
departed this life in Canada on January 27th 2026
at the blessed age of 85.

A matriarch of strength, grace, and unwavering love, Edith leaves behind a legacy cherished by all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her:
Children: Brian and Beverly Gittens and Wade Phillip

Sisters: Kathlyn Alexis, Margaret Charles, Sharon Smith and Cynthia Felix

Brothers: Wilfred, Darnley and Selwyn Charles

Grandchildren: Christel Rouse, Tyrese, Jalean and Enyia Gittens

Great-Grandchildren: Chrishel, Oshea and Dylan Phillip, DaeYon, Janiiyah Longboat and Gemedy

Daughters-in-law: Tessa Gittens and Joann St. Bernard

Son-in-law: Colin Cassell

Nieces: Denise Matthias and Ferryann Joseph

Nephews: Cecil and Timothy Joseph

God Daughter: Salisha Allard Blaisdell and Lexia Alexis

Her Best Friends: Miss Daphne Fairclough in Canada and Miss Eunice Baptiste and Pearl Richards in New York

She is also mourned by countless other relatives and friends whose lives she touched with kindness and compassion including: The Ollivere family, Donalyn Otley, Arlene Delves-La Crette, Hon. Ron Redhead, Hon. Andy Williams and Hon. Claudette Joseph
