Derek Anderson Gill also known as “Tankie”, a former dock worker of Springs, St. George
passed away on Sunday 9th November, 2025
at the age of 67.

His siblings: Margaret Cudjoe, Michael and Rose Gill, David Nigel Snagg in the USA,
Sylvester Smith in Trinidad, Annmarie Gill in Grenada and Marilyn Marline Gill John in Canada, tan tan Julien, Justin, Lionel, Christoper, Elizabeth and Bernadette Roberts in Grenada, Catherine Gibbs, Hillary Calliste and Carl Roberts in the USA

Brothers-in-law: Anderson John, Steven Calliste and Timothy Gibbs

Sisters-in-law: Margaret Gill, Hazel-Ann and Cheffon Roberts and Valencia George

Twenty nine nieces, nephews, many grand nieces and nephews

Two aunts and one uncle

Other relatives and friends including: Bobboy hood, Trevor Cox, Omar, Booday, Pastor Paul, Margaret Sam, Don Roberts, the harshers and Hikers of Grenada and Carriacou, baseman, David Otway, Marcus and Clinton Bailey, Jennifer, the Dock workers of Grenada, the Miller, Findley, James, Marshall, Payne, Griffith, Adams and Gilbert families of Springs, the Roberts family of Woodlands and Mt. Gay, the Snagg family of Richmond Hill. Many relative and friends in Springs, Belmont, Paddock and surrounding areas.

Will take place on Wednesday 3rd December, 2025 at 1:00pm
Funeral Service will be held at Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Church Street, St. George’s
Followed by Interment at Wilberforce Cemetery
