Benedict Fraser also known as “Ben Baptiste, Uncle Ben, Hail-up and Blow-away” of La Tante, St. David, who resided at Lowther’s Lane, St. George
passed away on Monday 31st August, 2026
at the age of 79.

He is survived by:
His loving wife: Joan Fraser

Children: Kennie Fraser, Chris Augustine in Grenada and Jenielle in Canada

Siblings: Selwyn James (OM) in Antigua and Pearl Baptiste in the USA

Grandchildren: Allenton, Anthon, Anyah, Kennel, Joshua, Jayden and Mathonia

Daughter-in-law: Judy Fraser

Sisters in-law: Denise Francis, Oris and Erma

Aunt-in-law: Claudia

Many nieces and nephews including: Carla-Marie James in Antigua, Coretta James-Shepeard and Selma Alexander in the USA and Crystal Francis in Grenada

Will take place on Friday 25th September, 2026 at 2:00pm, commencing with tributes at 1:00pm
Funeral service will be held at Lucas Street, New Testament Church, St. George
And interment at Center Cemetery, St. George
