Matthew Sayers of Vincennes, St. David, who resided at Birchgrove, St. Andrew
passed away on Tuesday 25th August, 2026
at the age of 98.

Left to mourn are:
His children: Paul Millette, Deltrice Lake, Eric and William Sayers, Myrtle Walker and Hilda Staple

Sister: Daphney Sayers

Daughters and sons in law: Julia Millette, Margaret and Christine Sayers, Clifton Staple, Morris Lake and Conrad Walker

14 grandchildren including: Shaquille, Ricky, Hezron, Rudell, Clion and Jonathan

17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild

Other close friends and relatives including: Brian Forrester, Caretakers, Phyllis Christopher, Trisha Swan, Ann, neighbours and friends of Birchgrove and surrounding areas.

The Funeral of the late Matthew Sayers
Will take place on Friday 18th September, 2026 at 2:00pm, commencing with tributes at 1:00pm
Funeral service will be held at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, Birchgrove, St. Andrew
Followed by entombment at St. Rose Cemetery, Birchgrove, St. Andrew
