Amelia Josephine Charles also known as “Sis Charles and Charlo” of River Sallee, St. Patrick who resided in Belmont then Frequente, St. George- a past employee of Food Fair-Grand Anse
passed away on Wednesday 20th May, 2026
at the age of 83.

She is survived by:
Her children: Cecilia George aka Denise, Sharon Alexander, Rudolph Charles aka Trevor, Solomon Charles aka Buffy well-known bus drivers in Grand Anse and Carlyle Charles aka Peter

Siblings: Raphael Cornwall and Veronica Swan in the UK, Neatil Joseph aka Mayie of River Sallee St. Patrick’s.

Grand Children: Clinton, Christopher, Sheldon, Blondell, Carla, Crista, Camesha, Carlene, Joseph Stephenson, Zayne, Racquelle, Reshida, Richard, Keron, Christa, Sarah, Kyle, Ruth, Chrissy, La-tanyah, Michael, Isis, Taitan, Kadeem, Blossom, Ria, too much to mention

Great-Grandchildren: Ashley, Keijon, Amiah, Cayel, Malachi, Ezekiel, Caliyah, Aaliyah, Aainayah, Ashlee, Adara, Curiah, Caylee, Camarly, Adjani Mitchell, too much to mention.

Daughters-in-law: Ceri Charles and Jonnis Edwards

The Funeral of the late Amelia Josephine Charles
Will take place on Thursday 18th June, 2026 at 12:00pm
Funeral service will be held at Gateway Assembly, Point Saline, St. George
And interment at Grand Anse Cemetery
