Theresa Ann Baptiste also known as “Elvira Thomas” of Chantimelle, St. Patrick and Duquesne St. Mark, who resided at Brooklyn, New York
peacefully passed away on Wednesday January 14th, 2026
at the age of 76.

Left to mourn are:
Her Husband: Gabriel Baptiste AKA Chop/Buff

Her children: Lordy (deceased), Alvin, Shirn and Shirna in the U.S, Denna in Canada and Prescott

Her sisters: Vennis and Agatha in the U.S, Violet in Grenada.

Brothers: Godwin and Fennis in the U.S., Jude, John and Mike in the UK and Joseph in Grenada

Grandchildren: Taisha, Tyrell, Trevion, Tameika, Kevin, Kareem, Sean, Aniya, Raymond, Shyah, Sigourney and Anizia

Great grandchild: Kairi

Sisters-in-law: Catherine aka Liola, Jacquline and Ann-Marie in the U.S, Evelyn, Brenda and Linda in the UK

Brothers-in-law: Lennox and Micheal

Daughters-in-law: Genieve Thomas and Keisha Baptiste in the U.S

Son-in-law: Denys Raeburn in the U.S.

Many nieces and nephews including: Tasha and Monice in the U.S

Many cousins, other relatives, and close friends and family including: Phyllis Lewis and family, Our Lady of Miracle Church Family in the U.S, St. Rose of Lima R.C Church family, the Baptiste, Thomas, and Mills families, friends and neighbors of Chantimelle, Duquesne, Industry, the United States, the United Kingdom and surrounding areas.

Will be held on Tuesday 17th February, 2026 at 2:00pm with tributes commencing at 1:00pm
Funeral Service will be held St. Patrick’s R.C Church, Sauteurs
