It feels as though it was just yesterday, but one year has passed since you left us. But, you are always in our hearts, and even during the six years of your struggles.
Your dynamism, encouragement, comfort and love for family will never leave our hearts. We wish you were still here, we missed your sweet laughter, your dancing, your singing and maneuvering around the home; and, most importantly your care for your family. You were the father that anyone would be proud and elated to have.
The many days of family togetherness- swimming, sightseeing, fishing and barbecue would not be forgotten. You will be remembered too, for the use of the Correction Stick and being a hardliner on many occasions.
You have touched the lives of many, particularly those whom you have adopted; by your fatherliness, advice and leadership- This was expressed daily.
We love you, and we know that you loved us too, but God has called you to a better place. A life well lived is a life worth remembering. May you always rest in peace.
Thank you to all family and friends who consoled us in whatever way. Your gifts were much appreciated.
We love you Dad. From your family: Cutie, Cornie, Gracie and Angie.
