Funeral service will be on Friday, May 5th,2023 at 11:30 am at the Victoria Roman Catholic Church and interment at Coast Guard Cemetery.

Eldica Julien, also known as “MA”, 94, of Victoria, St. Mark’s died on Friday, April 14th , 2023.

Eldica “Ma” Julien was born on December 26th , 1928, and registered at birth as Melvinia Cynthia Paul. She was the daughter of the late Vanilla Paul and late Oconneal Julien. Eldica “Ma” Julien was caring, sweet, kind, very generous and a family-oriented person. She loved and supported her family dearly, most of her working years was spent at the Victoria Branch of the Grenada Cooperative Nutmeg Association. Eldica was an entrepreneur throughout her life, supplying basic items to meet the neighborhood’s needs.

She was preceded in death by sons Ian and Crispin Julien, three daughters: Dona, Dean Francis and Gloria Francis, her late brothers Davis Fletcher, Ashley Fletcher, Clunis Julien and two late sisters: Earline Depradine and Evril Julien. Also, Grand-son Jamal Julien.
Eldica Julien is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and siblings.

Her Surviving family includes her siblings: Lincoln and Cedric and their families.
Left to mourn are her children: Valma, Rawle, Velda, Heston and Gemmalyn.
Her grandchildren: Terry, Favian, David, Denroy, Lisa, Densil, Ursel, Gary, Tamika, Frank, Daniel, Candice, Carl, Carlson, Arco, Ajamu, Chesla, Randy, Amrika, Shamel, Andrew, Odinga, Jamie, Rachel, Rashida, Makeda, Odiah, Sadiki, Salim,
Shammuah, Shamari, Shaddai, Shalem, Shanet, Salome, and Dainel.

Many great grandchildren including : Daynia, T- Ander, Nianna, Ebony, Dashawn, Terrique, Revon, Issy, Shem, Keishika Loving, Lunar, Brianna, Mekhi, Peyton, Dmya, Rashawn,Nashawn,Darrel,Shania,Rihema,Jadiah,Javani, Omarion, Anayah, Omir, April, Daija, Zaniyah, Amarah, Jayden, Donte, Kianna, Akeem, Samara, Sanchez, Daniel jr, Dejeanay, Jamahi, and Felicia.
Her nieces include Terah, Bernadette, Jennifer, Eslyn, Angela, Agnes, Carmel, Shelly, Sherryann, Cheryl, Shrilania, Agnes, Dorette, Marcia, Shirley, and Elinda.
Her Nephews: Winston, Carlson, Matthew, Peter, Ulric, Eric, Clovis, Devon, Noddy, Deron, Cedric Jr and Albert.
Stepsons: Bentley McIntosh and Wellington Welsh
Sister-in-law of: Claudia Fletcher and Agnes Fletcher
Other in-laws: Dennis “Den-Den” Mathlin, Wilbert Simon, Joy Morris, Celia Bosworth, Jevon Suralie and Michael Vincent.

Other relatives and friends including Angela & Patrice and the Julien family of River Road, St. George’. The Julien family Coast Guard ST. Mark and surrounding areas. The Paul family, Romain family, Rona and Toylin and the Williams family, the Francis family, Wellington Family and Suralie family of Victoria, St. Mark’s, and former colleagues at Victoria Nutmeg Station.
